In April, 2011 the works on manufacture and supply of steel structures for Dneprostal LLC steel-melt shop, Dnepropetrovsk were finished. The customer was Danieli Heavy Machinery Engineering LLC – the subsidiary of well-known Italian company Danieli that is one of the largest suppliers of equipment and devices for the metallurgical industry, worldwide.

The deliveries of steel structures to the site were conducted by PJSC «Dniepropetrovsk Steelwork Plant named after I.V. Babushkin», one of the production enterprises of Holding under the management of PJSC “Ukrstalkonstruktsiya”.

The total scope of steel structures of columns, crane runway beams, trusses and secondary trusses produced by PJSC «DZMK named after I.V. Babushkin» is 5 500 tons.

The design of steel-melt shop was developed in best traditions of European designers who put strict requirements to manufacturing accuracy of all the details. The steel structures of lattice columns with the length of 13 and 18 meters have high load-bearing ability and are characterized by perfect operational characteristics. The crane runway beams with the length of 12 and 24 meters were manufactured in accordance with design requirements with allowance for all possible dynamic forces. All steel structures were coated by multi component system of foreign paint-and-varnish materials for corrosion protection. The high level of steel structures’ quality was conditioned by use of special technological equipment and ultrasonic control. PJSC «DZMK named after I.V. Babushkin» made full check assemblies of all the columns and trusses at the plant for providing the maximum factory assembly precision.
