The company history dates back to August 1, 1973, when the republican amalgamation Ukrstalkonstruktsiya was created by the Decree of the Counsel of Ministers of the Ukrainian Soviet Socialistic Republic with the view of managing, coordinating and furthering activities of Ukrainian steelwork plants. The amalgamation consolidated 12 manufacturing facilities, a welding materials plant and a planning and design office.
In 1991 it was transformed into the research and manufacturing combine Ukrstalkonstruktsiya with its promoters being 14 legal entities.
Order of the State Property Fund of Ukraine №677 dated June 12, 1996, reorganized the research and manufacturing combine into PJSC Ukrstalkonstruktsiya promoted by 12 steelwork plants and a design institute.
On March 11, 1999, the Securities and Stock Market State Commission of Ukraine grants the Certificate of Registration of 524’160 issued by PJSC Ukrstalkonstruktsiya.
Yet, now the controlling interest of PJSC Ukrstalkonstruktsiya belongs to Fercon Holding which, in its turn, is owned by Consortium Industrial Group, one of the most serious and weighty investors in Ukraine.
Currently, Ukrstalkonstruktsiya is a leading Ukrainian company providing a full range of services in designing, manufacturing and mounting steel constructions of various types both locally and world-wide. Annual production output exceeds 100 thousand tons.
